McEwen Drive Pump Station

Pump Station Improvements

Location: Webster, NY
Owner: Monroe County

Lu Engineers provided upgrades to the McEwen Drive Pump Station in Webster, NY. The McEwen Drive Pump Station receives flow from the northwest portion of the Town of Penfield and a small portion of the Town of Webster. Flow is pumped through over ½ mile of 14 inch DIP force main to gravity sewers with average flows of about 1.5 mgd and peak flow of about 4.5 mgd.

The scope of work on this project includes pump replacements, adjustable frequency drives, electrical gear relocation, odor control system, flow metering system, power supply, installation of a sewage grinder, review of hydraulics, pump operations and building facade upgrades.
