In a joint effort with Monroe County, the Town of Chili has compiled an inventory of its stormwater system to comply with GASB 34 requirements. This process involved an assessment of the Town’s available mapping ranging from dated paper plans to CAD drawings. Upon review and recommendation of plans required for mapping this system, a majority of the plans were scanned and georeferenced by Monroe County. Any remaining plans were to be georeferenced by Lu Engineers. Lu Engineers was also charged with digitizing stormwater data and identifying data gaps.
