Monroe County retained Lu Engineers for the design, survey, construction administration, and construction inspection of the RTOC. Lu Engineers provided all plans, specifications, and estimates for the placement of two 10,000 gallon aboveground, double-wall fireguard steel, fuel storage tanks for unleaded gasoline and diesel fuel storage. Lu Engineers also designed fueling islands, an overhead canopy system, fire suppression system, and related appurtenances.
Lu Engineers also provided mechanical and structural engineering design to prepare the modifications to the existing design drawings and technical specifications to include the installation of a 10,000 gallon, double-wall above-ground fireguard tank for the storage of E-85 Ethanol fuel, the associated pumping equipment, tank accessories and a single remote dispensing unit. This was part of the project to create the Monroe County Green Fueling Facility which dispenses E-85 Ethanol, B2o Biodiesel, and Hydrogen Fuel.
