Today Lu Engineers participated in their 4th cleanup this year of the Adopt-A-Highway Program along a 1.4 mile stretch of road in Pittsford, NY. Lu Engineers participates in the New York State Department of Transportation’s Adopt-A-Highway Program from April - November. Four times a year, Lu Engineers employees volunteer to pick-up litter along Route 96 in Bushnell’s Basin. The route is a 1.4 mile stretch of Route 96 from Powder Mill Office Park to Thornell Road in Pittsford, NY. The goal of Adopt-A-Highway is to provide a park-like appearance along the adopted roadway.
