NICET III Construction Inspector
Location: Johnstown, NY
The project is located in Johnstown NY and anticipated schedule is May through September 2011. The work involves road and signal work on NYS RTE 29 (500 ft long) and 30A (1200 to 1500 ft long) including the addition of turn lanes. There are large fills on these two roads. There will also be a realignment of a County road (2600 ft long) which includes a 30 ft cut and installation of a roundabout.
Candidates experience shall include:
- NICET level 3 Highway Construction Inspection or equivalent education/training.
- Traffic control following National MUTCD and NYSDOT Standards.
- NETTCP Soils and Aggregate Inspector or NYSDOT Soils training within last 5 years.
- Signal experience.
- Recordkeeping on a NYSDOT project including; daily reports, quantity measurement, and preparing record plans.
