History

Prior to organizing Lu Engineers in 1980, Joseph C. Lu spent more than a decade developing the necessary engineering and business skills to manage his newly formed company. Throughout the 1980's the firm grew steadily, adding new skills and disciplines with each new person hired.

The company grew from three employees in a modest downtown Rochester NY office, to the 40 plus engineers, geologists, environmental specialists, surveyors, technicians, and administrative staff currently employed.

Milestones

  • In 1980 Joseph C. Lu founded Lu Engineers in downtown Rochester, NY.
