clients to insure projects are built efficiently and in accordance with their plans and
specifications.

Lu Engineers provided
construction management services for the Regional Traffic Operations
Center at the Rochester International Airport, winning an award for
coordinating the efforts of fourteen architectural, engineering and
construction firms on behalf of seven client agencies who now use the
facility. |
These services include the review of plans, specifications, shop drawings, construction
schedules and progress payments, day to day quality assurance inspection as
well as certifying final project completion. We will help you identify and
provide solutions to potential problems that may arise during construction.
We have a standardized Quality Control Plan that begins with the assignment
of qualified staff; briefing of personnel prior to new stages of work; and
monitoring inspection activities, record keeping, and staff during
construction. A Quality Manager is assigned to each project to review the
work of the entire field staff on a scheduled basis.
Our staff is trained in construction, safety, maintenance and protection
of traffic, and protection of the environment. Most of our inspectors are
certified by the National Institute for Certification in Engineering
Technologies (NICET) and have many years of experience in the field. This
experience, combined with a close relationship with the Design Engineers
gives our Resident Inspectors the insight to interpret the designs and act
responsibly to assure a quality project.
Lu Engineers has steadily built a reputation for excellence in

construction inspection project. In that time, we have identified and
retained a core staff of high quality, seasoned resident engineers and
inspectors. Unlike most other firms, Lu Engineers strives to keep these
